About Frost River

Frost River is a boutique engineering firm based in Toronto. For 15+ years, we've designed backend systems and cloud infrastructure for fintech, healthcare, venture capital, and product companies that needed to scale without accumulating debt. We focus on systems built to last: clean API boundaries, observable infrastructure, and cost controls that work without constant attention.

Most teams we work with aren't short on engineering talent. They're dealing with systems that grew faster than the architecture behind them.
